Hello hello, its Chelsea and Ellen!
Right now everyone is braiding like crazy (both bracelets and hair)! We are going to recap our wonderful day for all of you.
The day started off with some pancakes. We loaded up into the vans, and headed off to our worksites. The larger group headed off to finish painting, while Ms. Jane, Stephanie, Alex, Claire and Erica stayed at the other home.
All of the girls sweat their butts off! We put two coats of paint on the home, with the sun beating down on us! While Ms. Jane's group literally built a shed. Those girls dug, cemented, and hammered all day!
We are so proud of our fellow classmates/teachers/ms. Carole! The things our friends are doing have far surpassed any of our expectations. Not only was there no complaints all day, but each girl went around and thanked each other for simple acts of kindness throughout the day.
All of the girls would like to let all of our friends and family that they are in our prays everyday! We love and miss all of you!
Happy St. Ignacius Feast Day!
Love,
Chelsea and Ellen

Hi Claire and All,
Great pictures!!! Keep them and stories coming. You're doing a great job. I have a retaining wall that needs work so see if you can get some experience in that area before you return. ;)
Claire - We all miss you, including Tango. I think Laura is taking Hannan to see Lily at the mall on Sat - they are expecting 10,000 kids to show up and trigger some massive back-to-school sales for the stores.
Keeping all of you in my prayers...

Hello Alex & girls. I am so impressed. Such hard work - but equally important - the smiles express all the fun you are having also!!! Loved the construction pix. 90 here yesterday, hotter today. all my love - ta - xo
Hello Stephanie and Friends---
Hope all is well in the mud. I would have posted sooner but, as Steph can attest, I just recently found out what an "IM" was--so you can imagine my confusion with the BLOG concept. My computer skills aside, you should all be very proud of your accomplishments in Mississippi (actually, they are quite astonishing!!!). I assume that after undertaking such huge tasks on your trip that all of you are looking forward to returning home and completing those pesky little home chores with joy (not likely!!). Looking forward to having you all home safe, and hoping you continue to have fun while finding joy in serving those in need--- Steph's Dad
Glad to see everyone is working hard Keep the pictures and comments coming

Hi Bridget,
I had a smile on my face after speaking to you last night - your enthusiasm for what you are doing is contagious - Miss Antognoli said she wants to volunteer! I agree that it is hard to believe that your week is half over. Enjoy every moment! So many people have been asking about you that I don't think their names will all fit on a blog so I'll just keep a list for you to see when you come home (Papa is especially proud and thinks you should consider a career in engineering like him!!) Keep up the good work. We love you, Mom & Al
HI Sarah and crew, Final they learned how to send me the link. You girls really look great. The photos prove that GIRLS REALLY HAVE THE POWER.I was happy to see you were in New Orleans,do you remember the stories that we told you about Uncle Carlo and Uncle Chuckie when we were all there for the Sugar Bowl. If you don't they will be stories for your return. The coffee at the Cafe is really strong. I hope you were warned before you had a cup.
Enjoy the remainder of your great adventure. Be safe and we will keep checking up on all of you!!
Lots of Love,Aunt Jill
P.S. Tell Jane that I said hello and remember if there is a place to shop she will find it. Give her a hug from me
Hey Kel! I love the pictures, keep them coming! Nothing is too new here. Greg helped coach the dream game last night. The County dominated over the City! Too bad. It was fun to see Greg on the field though!
Better get back to work. See you in a couple days!
Love you,
Sarah
